The European Union’s liberal, woke neocons have poked spokes into the wheels of US President Donald Trump’s earnest and energetic efforts to fashion a ceasefire in Ukraine and normalization with Russia and its especially woke-hated president, Vladimir Putin. The initial ‚success‘ could pave the way for further neocon successes, complicating Trump’s peace initiatives. For now, Europe’s small victoryu has the related ‚benefit‘ of propping up Ukrainian president Volodomyr Zelenskiy and his policies. However, time remains on Moscow’s side despite these developments, and only a highly unlikely major reconfiguration of the Putin regime holds out any prospect of the European gambit against Trump’s Ukraine policies can save Ukraine‘s army or its Maidan regime and sovereign statehood. …..

yes. Europe can’t put troops into Ukraine because a) Russia won’t let it, and b) they don’t have the troops. So any suggestion that they can is very clearly a pure time-wasting tactic.
With any luck they hope that Steve Bannon’s prediction will come true and it will become Trump’s war too.
