I have long been arguing and tracking the development of a pre-coup situation and coup poker inside the Ukraine’s Maidan regime. Replete with neofascists, corruption, and criminaity and threatened by a collapsing front, fraying army, failing state, and a society and polity riven with divisions and crises (energy, financial, economic, and moral, social, political, and military) Kiev is ripe for a coup. Indeed, it has been in such a state or nearly so for years, with manifestations of pre-coup action which I have documented here and on my original site (Russian and Eurasian Politics, gordonhahn.com). One can doubt the potential for a military or ‘palace’ coup and/or neofascist or other form of revolt, but one does so at one’s analytical peril. …………………….
